 Are you a Western Sydney University (WSU) Alumni or a former WSU permanent employee and do  you have a GradLife card?  If you did not receive an Alumni (GradLife) card when you graduated or  ceased permanent employment at WSU, you can contact the Office of  Employability and Graduate Success (alumni@westernsydney.edu.au or 02 9685 9500) to register and obtain this card.

 Have you registered with the Library as a Library Alumni member?

 To join the Library, fill out the Library membership form available from the Alumni Members Library page. Attach either a scanned/photographed copy of your GradLife card or a copy of your GradLife registration email.
 Have you received your login for  Alumni e-resources?

 After your Library registration is completed, an email will be sent that  includes a link to access Alumni databases.

 Your login will be:

 ID: Your student or staff ID number

 PASSWORD: Your family name in UPPERCASE.

 Note: This is different to your My Library login.

 Are you using the Alumni  e-resources page?  Unlike when you studied/worked at WSU, there is no access to electronic resources via the Library search box or e-Resource page. You must use the Alumni e-resources page (Library homepage > About Us > Alumni).
 Are you getting an error message:  Invalid username or password?

 If you have answered yes to all of the above and you still get this message, you may have made more than three unsuccessful attempts to sign in. Your password can become temporarily locked for a 20 minute period so please try again later.

 You could also try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox) or clear the  cache to see if this resolves the issue.

 Have you checked your browser  settings for off campus access?

 Try a different browser or check your browser settings for off campus  access.

 There may be an issue with the Library database. Please contact the Library and provide the following details:

  • Name of the database.
  • Browser you are using.
  • Type of device (i.e. computer, laptop, iPad, tablet or phone).
  • Operating system on the device (i.e. Windows, Mac, iOS or Android).
  • Details or a screenshot of the error message.
 Still cannot login?  If you have previously signed into a database or can sign into other  databases on the Alumni page there may be an issue at our end. Please email us and provide the name of the database plus screen shots of  any error messages and we will investigate further.
