This error message may indicate that you have made more than three unsuccessful attempts to sign in to library e-resources. Your password can become temporarily locked for a 20 minute period so you may need to try again later.

The correct format for logging into library resources is your student or staff ID (do not use your WSU email address) and your Western password. If your ID and Western password still do not work, try clearing the cache in your browser then restart your browser before attempting access again. Restarting your computer may also help.

Do not use any saved logins but manually type in your ID and Western password.

Alternatively, you can try a different browser to see if this resolves the problem. Chrome and Firefox are recommended.

You can also reset your password by visiting the password management page.
