Sign in to your ORCID Account.

Note: If you do not have an account, register for an ORCID iD. If you have an account but can't recall your ORCID password, visit the reset password page rather than create a new ORCID Account.

You can add scholarly outputs or NTROs manually or automatically.

Add research outputs manually

Use your Staff Profile and copy and paste text from your profile, into your ORCID account, by using the crayon icon option next to each heading.

Add relevant research outputs, such as:

  • General information: Add information about yourself.
  • Biography Education, Employment, Funding or Works sections: Add or update details in your profile.

Add research outputs automatically

Automatically harvest all research outputs to make a permanent connection to a major publisher or service provider

Use the crayon icon from the Works section to choose the Search & Link wizard function.

To capture most research outputs, adding the following options is recommended:

  • Crossref Metadata Search
  • DataCite
  • Europe PubMed Central
  • ISNI
  • OpenAIRE Explore
  • Research Data Australia
  • Scopus - Elsevier
  • The Lens
