If the file only contains text, it must be less than 2MB.
Turnitin will accept any file where the text can be checked for similarity:
- that is less than 100MB;
- that has a minimum of 20 words; and
- that is less than 800 pages.
If your file exceeds this limit you may remove the images or save the file as a rich text or plain text file to make the file smaller.
You can further compress a PDF to a reduced size format using the Adobe online tool.
