Q. What makes a publication eligible for Read & Publish Agreement support?

A publication is eligible for Read & Publish support if: 

• The journal is included in the current Open Access Agreements Negotiated by CAUL: Title List, and
• The article, author, submission process, and license meet the relevant publisher requirements. 

Eligibility is not based on the journal title alone.

1. Check the publisher agreement details, including:

• Eligible article types
• Author eligibility
• Submission steps
• License options
• Any charges that may still apply

AND

2. Ensure that you:

• Submit using your institutional email address, e.g., @westernsydney.edu.au or @student.westernsydney.edu.au
• Nominate Western Sydney University as your primary affiliation
