Q. Where can I find guidance on scholarly publishing?

The Australian Research Council (ARC) has released supplementary guides designed to support institutions, researchers, and academics regarding scholarly publishing and open textbooks publications.

These guides include publication and dissemination of research, authorship, collaborative research, peer review, and management of data and information in research.

These will also assist in implementing and complying with The Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2018).

The Western Open Books Quick Start Guide is also a good starting point for WSU authors publishing their open textbooks as part of the Western Open Books service.
