For an item to be assigned a DOI, it must meet the following criteria:
• Western Sydney University must be the sole publisher
• There must be at least one Western Sydney University staff member or student as the author
• The item must contain a research component
• It must be eligible for inclusion in ResearchDirect as the DOI must resolve to a ResearchDirect record.
