The Research Activity Statement (RAS) has specific rules about what is included.

For research outputs, only ERA eligible outputs that were published within the RAS time frame will be included. The current RAS time frame (as at August 2022) is 2017 to 2022.

The following items will not be included in the RAS:

  1. Research Outputs published in 2022 or published prior to 2016.
  2. Published outputs that are not eligible for ERA. These are identified on the Researcher Portal by the ** at the end of the number on the far right.
  3. “In Press” outputs are not ERA eligible, as they are not considered “published” by the ERA definitions. These are identified on the Researcher Portal by the text [In Press] at the start of the output title.
