You can download the following Western Sydney created style files from the Library's EndNote Subject Guide.

Western Sydney EndNote style files need to be saved into your personal EndNote ‘Styles’ folder.

To locate the default path for your personal ‘Styles’ folder:

  1. Open the EndNote application.
  2. Click on Edit then choose Preferences… (Mac users: Click on EndNote in the toolbar to access Preferences…).
  3. Click on Folder Locations and see Styles Folder to view the default file path for your ‘Styles’ folder.

Please refer to the instructions below for your operating system.

For PC users

Save the file into your personal EndNote ‘Styles’ folder.

The ‘Styles’ folder is usually saved in the following location:

C: Drive\ Users\ User Name\ Documents\ EndNote\ Styles

If no folders exist within your ‘Documents’ folder:

  1. Open your ‘Documents’ folder and create a new ‘EndNote’ folder.
  2. Open your new ‘EndNote’ folder and create a new ‘Styles’ folder.
  3. Save the style file into your new ‘Styles’ folder.

For Mac users

Save the file into your personal EndNote ‘Styles’ folder.

The ‘Styles’ folder can be found by using your Finder:

  1. Open Finder.
  2. In the Finder toolbar, click on Go then select Computer.

The ‘Styles’ folder is usually saved in the following location:

Computer Name/ Users/ User Name/ Documents/ EndNote/ Styles

If no folders exist within your ‘Documents’ folder:

  1. Open your ‘Documents’ folder and create a new ‘EndNote’ folder.
  2. Open your new ‘EndNote’ folder and create a new ‘Styles’ folder.
  3. Save the style file into your new ‘Styles’ folder.

Once the style file is downloaded it will be available for use in EndNote and Word.
