Western Open Books is a library publishing service that supports Western Sydney University (WSU) academics to create and publish open textbooks to be used in the curriculum and microcredentials.

Available format types include:

  • PDF: For print or print on demand.
  • EPUB: For Apple iBook, Nook, Kobo, Kindle and other eBook platforms.
  • Webbook: Private or public.

All book formats are produced using templates that are optimised in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Please note: File exports produced with Western Open Books can be downloaded and freely distributed.
