The Library understands that current WSU students have a need or a preference to sit their online exam/s in the Library. To balance the needs of all clients of the Library, the following shared areas can be used for exams in line with the usual Library study space use requirements:

  • For individual WSU students where quiet interactions for exams are required, use:
    • Quiet Study Areas
    • Remember: these are shared spaces, phones on silent, covered food and drinks.
    • Please note: your own headset with earphones and microphone is required for your privacy and to minimise the impact on others who are studying or sitting exams

  • For individuals where no verbal interactions for exams are required, use:
    • Silent Study Areas
    • Remember: these are shared spaces, phones on silent, no food and covered drinks only; please move to another area for all conversations.

The following areas are not available for individual exams:

Please note: our desktop computers are not configured for the Proctor U software, please allow time for it to install; the Library cannot guarantee seating in the required areas or that your exam will not be interrupted by other Library clients; Library spaces are only available during advertised opening hours.
