Exam papers are now available from the Library Search Box. You must be an enrolled Western Sydney University student or current staff member to access this content.

You can search and access past exam papers that have been released in the last 10 years. Answers and solutions are not provided (including exams with multiple choice sections).

Ensure you Sign in to ‘My Library’ in the first instance then search for past exam papers by unit number (e.g. 101979) or unit title (e.g. Understanding Visual Culture).


You can refine your search by using the filters listed on the left hand side of your search results:

  • Selecting a date range under ‘Publication Date

  • Limit by Content Type


Once you have conducted your search click  Available online.


The exam paper will open in a new tab where it can be downloaded.


If you have not signed in, click on the red Sign in button, enter your Western Account details then select Available Online. 


The exam paper will open in a new tab where it can be downloaded.


If you have not logged into My Library and have then selected Available online, the following message will appear, "You do not have permission to view this object....".


To return to the sign in for My Library click on the other browser tab and select Sign in  at the top of the page.

Enter your Western Account login and then click on Available online to access the full text. 

Each school determines if exam papers are released. If the paper you are searching for is not in the Library catalogue and you would like to enquire further, please check your vUWS page or contact your unit coordinator.
