Q. How do I read an e-book offline from Elsevier eLibrary on my mobile device?

To read an Elsevier eLibrary title offline, you will need to install the Elsevier eLibrary Reader app on your mobile device.

The app is available for both iOS and Android.

Note: The ‘Read Offline’ option is only available for select titles.

To download a title:

1. Access Elsevier eLibrary through a browser on your mobile device.
2. Tap on the search icon at the top of the screen to search for a title.
3. Select ‘Read Offline’.
4. Select ‘Download Book’
5. The title should download automatically into the Elsevier eLibrary Reader app for you to read offline.

If the title does not download automatically, you may be prompted to choose the appropriate app after step 4.

Please note that if you use your mobile device browser to follow the download steps, you won’t be required to log in to the app to read the title offline.
