APA Style CENTRAL features full integration of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association and assists in the proper application of the APA Style formatting rules.
You can access templates to begin writing papers and if you use EndNote to store and manage your references, you can also import these references into APA Style CENTRAL.
To import EndNote references, you will need to change your Output Style to 'RIS' (which EndNote calls 'RefMan (RIS)'.
- Select the output style as RefMan (RIS) Export within the EndNote program.
- To export a reference, highlight the reference then click on File from the EndNote menu and choose Export... and add .ris to the end of the filename.
- Go to APA Style CENTRAL to import this .ris file to your references. On the APA Central home page, under the RESEARCH tab, you have the option to Add References. If not logged in, you will be prompted to do so. You can then view your reference list or import more references.
- To import references, Select the Import tab then select file origin as EndNote and browse your computer for your ris file, and click Submit.
