Q. Where can I find government publications?

Government publications can be found in the following ways:

1. Subject Guides

• Go to the General Reference Subject Guide and refer to the ‘Government’ pane to view a list of government websites.
• Browse School Subject Guides then click on the ‘Internet Links’ tab, within each guide, to see if any government websites are listed.

2. The Library Search Box

• Enter keywords for your topic into the Library search box.
• In the search results page, go to the ‘Content Type’ filter, on the left side, and click on ‘Show More’ then choose ‘Government Documents’.

3. Google Search

• To limit your search to Australian government websites, enter ‘site:gov.au’ into the search box followed by your topic keywords (e.g. site:gov.au business ethics). To refine results to New South Wales government websites, enter ‘site:nsw.gov.au’ before your keywords.
