It is practice for the library to withhold harvested ‘in press’ items from being sent to the Portal which feeds the staff profiles.

This is due to Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) and Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) implications.

If an ‘in press’ publication has been included in an ERA/HERDC return the ‘published’ details cannot be amended in the Portal/Staff Profile. Also, the Scopus ID of the ‘in press’ item must be retained on the Portal so no Scopus citations to the ‘published’ version of your paper will appear. If you understand these implications and would like your ‘in press’ article to appear in the Portal
