If you are exporting articles you have located through the Library search box, from the search results page, click on the More info link for the article.

Click the Send to link to then choose Export RIS/ EndNote from the drop down menu.

In the Import to Citation Manager pop up box, ensure Encoding UTF-8 is selected and click Ok.

The reference will be transferred into your EndNote library. If you are prompted to Open or Save the file,  choose Open and ensure that you have EndNote selected as the program to open the file.

Some databases available from the e-resources page also offer an export option into EndNote, though the process in exporting references will vary with each database. Refer to the help guides within a database for information or instructions on exporting citations.
