  • As the Library harvests publications from ScopusWeb of Science, and Google Scholar - check if your publication is available in ResearchDirect, before submitting your publication via the online form.
  • If it’s not listede.g. it is a pre-2017 publicationuse the self-submitted form to submit publications. If you are applying for grants you may also need to self-submit missing publications.
  • Should the Library require additional information before adding the publication into the library repository, ResearchDirect, a library staff member will be in contact for further clarification.
  • In periods of high volume, the expected processing timeframes are four weeks.
  • If this request needs to be prioritised due to a grant or promotion application, inform the library via the form.
  • Once processed by the Library, all eligible publication types will appear in the Library Repository, ResearchDirectResearch Portal, and Staff Profile page

Research outputs exceptions are:

  • blog posts
  • online opinion pieces (e.g., The Conversation Articles)

As they are not within ERA publication categories, they are still discoverable in ResearchDirect, via the ‘Other' browse function

Note: Research outputs that are listed under ‘Other' option do not appear in the Research Portal and Staff Profiles

These outputs can be listed in the Staff Profiles via the Media tab.

Further information about updating sections in the Staff Profile page can be found, here
